Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is a sulfur-containing organic compound, which is a colorless and odorless transparent liquid at room temperature, and is a hygroscopic flammable liquid. It has the characteristics of high polarity, high boiling point, good thermal stability, aprotic, miscible with water, and can be soluble in most organic substances such as ethanol, propanol, benzene and chloroform, and is known as a "universal solvent".

Packing And Storage

1. Packing:   225kg /barrel , or according to the customers' demand.

2. Storage:   Stored in the dry and ventilated inside storeroom, prevent direct sunlight, slightly pile and handle with care.

Application

1.  Widely used as solvent and reaction reagent, especially acrylonitrile polymerization reaction, as polyurethane synthesis and extraction solvent, polyamide, polyimide and polysulfone resin synthesis solvent, and aromatic hydrocarbons, butadiene extraction solvent and synthetic chlorfluoraniline solvent.

2.  In addition, dimethylsulfoxide is also directly used as a raw material and carrier for some drugs in the pharmaceutical industry.

3.  Dimethylsulfoxide itself has anti-inflammatory analgesic, diuretic, sedative and other effects, also known as the "panacea", often added as an active component of analgesic drugs.
